Carlos Hernandez-Cassis, M.D., M.P.H., is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
He currently serves as the Director of the Endocrinology Clinic at the Ambulatory Care Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital and Director of the In-Patient Diabetes-Endocrinology Teaching Team working to develop the curriculum for house staff and students.
He is mentor for students and residents rotating through all of the Divisional programs as well as observers participating in the Latin American Program.
