Kellie Rodriguez is the Director of Patient Education at the DRI's Eleanor and Joseph Kosow Diabetes Treatment Center.
Ms. Rodriguez received her professional and educational training in Australia. She attained her Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and her Master of Health Science (Nursing) at Deakin University.
Prior to joining the DRI, Ms. Rodriguez managed a large, community-based diabetes practice that provided care to individuals from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds. In addition, she was an active member of both the State and National Australian Diabetes Educator Association, holding leadership positions and developing and coordinating education programs for primary care physicians and other health care professionals.
Ms. Rodriguez is a member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators and the Greater Miami Association of Diabetes Educators.
