Jeanine Forman-Ham of St. Augustine, Florida, was born and raised in New York City and worked as a speech therapist in New York and Baltimore.
She and her late husband, Dr. George E. Ham, lived in western Massachusetts for many years, during which time she initiated a radio reading service for visually handicapped residents.
Forman-Ham’s son, David Hayes, was diagnosed with diabetes in 1994 at the age of 30, and she has been dedicated to the DRI’s mission ever since.
