Lawrence Howard, M.D. is a principal in New York-based Hudson Ventures, an investment firm focused on providing venture capital to early mid and stage emerging growth companies.
Earning his medical degree from New York Medical College, Dr. Howard served as chief resident in psychiatry at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and worked for several years in private psychiatric practice. He currently devotes his full energies to numerous corporate and philanthropic endeavors including serving on the board of directors of Presstek, Inc., Vuepoint Corporation, E-Tran, Inc., CertifiedMail.com, Inc., and the Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School.
In addition to serving on the DRIF’s national board, Dr. Howard and his wife, Judy, are active in the organization’s northeast regional board.
