A WORLD OF HOPE RESEARCH CONFERENCE
November 3, 2007
At this day-long conference guests learned about innovative technologies, new cell-based therapies and the latest research projects aimed at restoring insulin production in those living with diabetes. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in a Q & A session with the presenters, visit various diabetes-related exhibitors and hear from members of the PEP Squad (Parents Empowering Parents), an outreach group that mentors families of newly diagnosed children.
