On Sunday, November 23, from 4-8pm Kids Party for a Cure, presented by The Lexi Bayview Residences and Amy & Scott Greenwald, will take you and your family Around the World!
Upon entering the ballroom of the Hilton Miami Downtown, you will receive an event passport that will grant you access to a myriad of exciting destinations, including: Africa, ancient Egypt, France and Italy, Asia, Hawaii, Australia, the Latin Quarter, and the good, old USA.
Adults and kids of all ages will groove to the tunes of DJ Irie, while sampling exotic foods, enjoying international entertainment, and participating in unique, fun-filled activities local to each featured region of the world. Proceeds benefit the cure-focused research of the Diabetes Research Institute.
Led by Barbara & Dennis Amoils, Amy & Scott Greenwald, and Carol & David Walker, the Kids Party for a Cure committee is stepping outside of the box with sponsorships. While they are thankful for generous corporate and private sponsors such as The Townehomes at Oak Lane/Allen & Jill Greenwald and Andi Greenwald & Michele Hill, Rand Eye Institute, and Cordis Corporation, they are also excited to have garnered some of the youngest sponsors in the world! Dozens of South Florida children have initiated their own fundraising projects, becoming sponsors of this fantastic event and helping kids here and around the world come closer to their dream of living free from diabetes.
