Golfers make a quick stop to
purchase some sweepstakes
before proceeding to the next
hole at the 2008 Rod Gilbert DRI
Golf Classic.
The 2008 Rod Gilbert DRI Classic was held on Monday, August 4, and Honoree Paul Annunziato was thrilled with the fantastic weather. This annual golf event, held in memory of Anthony John Vitale, took place simultaneously at two locations, Pine Hollow Country Club and Muttontown Country Club, both in East Norwich, NY. After many birdies and boagies, golfers enjoyed a delicous dinner, a fabulous array of desserts, and a live auction led by event Co-Chair Bob Zuckerman. The event raised over $120,000 to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute.
