Woodbury magazine hosted their 5th annual Parenting Lecture & Luncheon at The Carltun in Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, NY, on July 9th, 2008. Over 180 women attended the luncheon, which raised over $4500 for the DRI.
This year's presentation featured psychiatrist, columnist, bestselling author and television commentator Gail Saltz, M.D. Dr. Saltz is a regular health, sex, and relationship contributor to the Today Show for which she hosts the weekly "On the Couch" segment. In addition, she writes a weekly "Relationship" column for MSNBC.com.
Following the presentation, Dr. Saltz signed purchased books while guests enjoyed an elegant lunch. More information to follow.
