Northeast board member Rick Fuscone and his wife, Marjorie, generously opened their magnificent home in Palm Beach to a small group of guests who thoroughly enjoyed the art-filled surroundings and the opportunity to speak with representatives from the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) and DRI Foundation. Dr. Norma S. Kenyon gave an informative presentation on the newest cell-based research underway at the DRI. The group also heard from DRIF President and CEO Robert A. Pearlman, who invited everyone to take a tour of the DRI the following day, meet with researchers in their labs and learn firsthand about the work underway to find a cure.
