Diabetes 2.0 Conference - New York
October 25, 2008

More than 300 people attended the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation’s Diabetes 2.0 conference in New York City on October 25th. From learning about the latest advances toward a cure and the newest tools and treatments for diabetes management, to dealing with emotional issues and understanding how progress is reported by the media, attendees were not only educated, but inspired by being with each other.
“Learning about the research breakthroughs gave me hope," said one attendee. "But my absolute favorite thing was the feeling of camaraderie between all the diabetics and their families. Spending the day with those who completely understand what you’re going through is priceless.”
