Diane Beber is a Virtuoso travel specialist with Luxury Travel Network, a division of TravelLeaders Group, in Miami, Fl. She specializes in luxury cruises, tours, safaris, along with special business and first class air.
A South Florida native, she became involved in the original group that evolved to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF), when her son, Hugh, developed diabetes more than 40 years ago, at the age of eight. She is a longtime member of the Board of Directors and volunteers on several fundraising event committees. She is also involved in dog/cat rescue. She and her husband have personally rescued 12 dogs and cats. One cat and one dog became diabetic and take two injections daily. Diane is also a member of dog rescue organization, Born Free and the Humane Society.
Diane and her husband Bernard "Bud" have 4 adult children and 9 grandchildren, one of whom was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2004.
