Ricardo Salmon is a partner at Eton Park Capital Management, a global multi-strategy hedge fund based in New York.
Prior to joining Eton Park, Mr. Salmon spent five years at DB Capital Partners, the private equity group of Deutsche Bank with responsibility for private equity investing in Emerging Markets. He has served on the board of directors of several portfolio companies including Duroplast, Brasil Midia Exterior, Ceramics Industriales, Havanna S.A. and InverCap Holdings. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Salmon was a financial analyst at James D. Wolfensohn, Inc. He graduated from the Wharton School of Business in 1993 with a BS in Finance and Accounting.
Mr. Salmon and his wife, Leslie, have a daughter, Eliana, and a son, Mathias, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 3 ½ years old. Originally from Uruguay, Mr. Salmon came to the United States in 1989.
