Basal/Bolus Insulin Therapy and Carbohydrate Counting

This class is designed to introduce patients to basal-bolus insulin therapy, and help advance their nutrition knowledge and skills.   

During the course, participants will learn:

  • How carbohydrates impact blood sugars
  • How people with diabetes can, through proper carbohydrate counting, control blood sugars and enjoy life’s simple pleasures
