Grand Re-opening of Michael Kors Boutique

Michael Kors is the leading American fashion designer for luxury accessories and sportswear. The newly expanded Michael Kors boutique at Americana Manhasset recently reopened, showcasing ready-to-wear, handbags and shoes from the Fall 2008 collection.
On the evening of October 16, 2008, Michael Kors partnered with the Diabetes Research Institute for a fabulous event to celebrate this grand reopening!
Fifteen percent of all purchases made at the grand reopening event were donated to the Diabetes Research Institute. Michael Kors attended the event, as did representatives from W Magazine.
Among the celebrities who have worn Michael Kors' designs are Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Garner, Cate Blanchett, Gwyneth Paltrow and Catherine Zeta-Jones. In addition, he outfitted Rene Russo's character in the 1999 hit remake of "The Thomas Crown Affair." Kors is currently a judge on Bravo's "Project Runway".
