Blueprint for Cure

Union campaign aims for 'diabetes free tomorrow'

A diabetes-free tomorrow is the vision of Blueprint for Cure, sponsored by the Building and Construction Trades Department, AFL-CIO to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute.

Its mission is to unify the fundraising efforts of local labor councils and their communities around the country through increased communication and event support.

Currently, 24 million Americans suffer from this disease.

As diabetes continues to grow, the Building and Construction Trades Department continues to contribute to the Diabetes Research Institute because it truly believes that there will be a cure, and it will come from the research done at the DRI.

Blueprint for Cure is a way to reinvigorate the fundraising efforts of the 4 million members of the Building and Construction Trades community.

By unifying the efforts of those in the Building and Construction community, they are truly the HOPE to a diabetes free tomorrow.

Below are just a few of the people who made a real difference this year...
