About the Event:
Norman Van Aken, legendary Chef/Director of Tuyo at The Miami Culinary Institute and author of the just released recipe book, My Key West Kitchen, returns to the event he helped create more than 14 years ago!
Van Aken is teaming up with La Gorce Executive Chef, Tim Nickey, to design and prepare a tantalizing, gourmet dinner at the exclusive La Gorce Country Club on Miami Beach. Chef Nickey comes to La Gorce from years of Executive Chef experience at Morton's Steakhouse, Abe & Louie's Steakhouse, Dragon Sushi & Kobe Club Miami. Chef Nickey and Chef Van Aken are sure to make this event unforgettable!
The evening will start with a cocktail party featuring an array of delicious passed hors d'oeuvres and sparkling wine, then continue with four courses of Chef Norman's signature dishes from My Key West Kitchen, paired with perfect wines to enhance flavors. One of the event's highlights is a spectacular auction of rare, fine wines, extraordinary travel experiences and more.

Chef Norman Van Aken helped create Pleasures of the Palate in the late 90s during the height of his acclaimed Coral Gables restaurant, Norman's.
The new, just released recipe book, My Key West Kitchen is in stores today and we couldn't be more pleased to have him back at the helm of this food and wine event.
