The Eleventh Annual All in for a Cure Texas Hold 'em poker tournament, to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute, took place on Thursday, November 1st, at The Grand Havana Room in midtown Manhattan. More than 200 attendees enjoyed fine wines, spirits and cigars, while taking in breathtaking views of Manhattan and participating in slight-of-hand magic, provided by the return of illusionist, Chris Dare.

The evening was a great success, raising more than $250,000 for the cure-focused work of the Diabetes Research Institute. Over the past decade, the event has grossed well over $2 million.

Co-chairs Samantha Shanken Baker, Jordan Dickstein, Troy Gregory, Isaac Khafif and Ricardo Salmon filled the room with colleagues, friends, and business associates. Congratulations to this year's first-place finisher, Daniel Marcucci, and to second-place contender, Jeff Jagid.

Warmest thanks to lead sponsors Danielle & Troy Gregory and Eric Aroesty & Drew Katz; to Marc Taub and Palm Bay International for wines and spirits; to Cigar Aficionado and Altadis USA for the cigars, and to all of the wonderful event sponsors and supporters who made the evening enjoyable and memorable.
