Northeast Cycle of Discovery Donor Event

Northeast Cycle of Discovery Cocktail Reception and Awards Presentation

The Northeast region of the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) Foundation honored a number of its major donors at a cocktail reception at The St. Regis-New York on Monday, November 6.

Donors who have reached cumulative giving milestones beginning at $25,000 received unique and beautiful crystal sculptures created just for the Foundation by Studio Glashyttan of Sweden. Each of these sculptures is an artistic representation of the stages that our doctors and scientists reach on the path to a cure for diabetes.

Guests heard about the Foundation from its National Chairman, William Fishlinger, and they listened to Dr. Camillo Ricordi, Director of the DRI, provide an update on five clinical trials that have begun or that will do so shortly.
