Whether your child's been back to school for a few days or a few weeks, many diabetes parents have been overwhelmed with classroom challenges and increased stress.

To help calm any anxieties, DRI's Director of Patient Education Kellie Rodriguez penned her Top 5 Tips for Returning to School.  She touches on school lunches, exercise and more.

One of her helpful tips is to educate students and teachers about diabetes.  Read more about how to give a classroom presentation.

Your child will be safer at school when classmates and school personnel are "in the know." 

Kellie says, "Be an ambassador for your school and for all kids living with diabetes."
