ADD ME TO THE LIST!

Sam Talbot

Grab your aprons and join us for the inaugural C3 - Collaborate, Cook, Cure! This interactive, virtual event will be hosted by celebrity Chef Sam Talbot, who has type 1 diabetes. He'll be sharing his personal story while he walks you step-by-step through a healthy cooking demonstration. He'll also be providing helpful cooking tips and techniques along the way.

This event is designed for you to follow along with Chef Sam from your own kitchen as he teaches how to make a diabetes-friendly dish. You will also have the chance to ask Chef Sam any of your cooking questions. Register now in order to get your ingredients in advance!

Don't miss the research chat with Dr. Mitra Zehtab, chief operating officer of the Diabetes Research Institute. She will be providing the latest scientific updates from the DRI. Additionally, there will be a silent auction full of exciting items, and we will be sharing healthy recipes for appetizers, desserts and drinks on the event site, too!

What to expect
The event will be taking place on the platform Cadence. This user-friendly platform allows guests to interact with one another in social rooms, participate on a live feed page, and build out your personal profile to your liking.

The event will feature a "Crazy Apron" contest so get ready to show off your favorite cooking apparel by posting a picture in the event live feed! If you don't have a funky apron to post, feel free to share your own favorite diabetes-friendly recipe in the feed.

Not sure if you can commit to cooking dinner on January 28th?
Guests can purchase our $100 ticket option and attend the event even if they do not want to cook along. Once the event concludes we will send out a recording of Chef Sam’s tutorial for you to hold onto and follow along at any time.

Those who make donations over $100 will receive Chef Sam Talbot's cookbook “The Sweet Life: Diabetes Without Boundaries.”
