Create a Fundraiser...Yes You Can!

"How can I help?" We hear that question all the time.

You can help by becoming one of our DRI Diplomats -- people of all ages from around the world who are raising money to help the DRI scientists cure diabetes. There are endless possibilities for do-it-yourself fundraising projects like online fundraising campaigns, dress-down days at school or the office, bake sales, garage sales, Zumba-thons, neighborhood walkathons...and the list goes on. It's easy to collect donations online by creating your own webpage. So let's get started!

Chatham Turkey Trot

Curt Ritter, whose daughter Mollie has T1D, started the Chatham Turkey Trot in his New Jersey hometown and raises thousands of dollars each year.

Dancing for Diabetes features award-winning and nationally recognized performers at this benefit show organized by President and Founder Elizabeth Stein each year.

Peloton Window Display

Keith Adwar and David Newman became "movable mannequins" in the storefront window of the Peloton store in Manhasset, NY, raising funds and awareness.

Richelleng, 12, who was diagnosed with T1D at 8 years old, hosted the first-ever Heart of Gold Foundation dinner at her church and raised $1,300 for the DRI.
