Mercy Molina, RD, LD, CDE has been a registered and licensed dietician for the past 19 years and a Certified Diabetes Educator and Nutrition Counselor since 2001.

She has extensive knowledge in the field of medical nutrition counseling as it applies to type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as wellness and weight management programs. She is a certified diabetes educator and a Certified Insulin Pump Trainer. She has assisted in the development of nutrition education programs for the public school system, thereby furthering her mission of bringing healthy lifestyle changes to the community.

She works with both pediatric and adult patients in the management of their diabetes, using the latest technology to help them achieve optimal blood sugar control. Her experience has been in the outpatient and inpatient hospital setting, providing medical nutrition therapy and counseling for weight management, diabetes, renal disease, cardiac health and bariatric counseling pre and post-surgery. Her training and experience includes a focus on individualized, realistic goal setting for permanent lifestyle change to aid positive weight management outcomes for improved health and wellness.

Mercy is a member of the American Diabetes Association. She is an avid road bike cyclist and loves to kayak.
