Sheila Farkas Natbony, D.O. F.A.A.P., is a practicing physician with the Queens Long Island Medical Group servicing their offices in North Babylon and Flushing, NY. Dr. Natbony has been a partner and shareholder of the group since 1982 and limits her practice to Pediatric and Adult Allergy and Clinical Immunology, focusing primarily on asthma, urticaria and allergic rhinitis.
A 1978 graduate of A.T. Still University in Kirksville, MO, Dr. Natbony completed a pediatric internship and residency at Cardinal Glennon Memorial Hospital for Children of the St. Louis University Hospitals in 1980 followed by a two year fellowship in Allergy, Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University Hospital and Health Sciences Center of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Natbony is the author of several publications in the area of urticaria that have appeared in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the Annals of Allergy.
Dr. Natbony is a member of several professional organizations including the American Medical Association, American College of Allergy and Immunology, New York State Medical Society, Nassau County Medical Society, and Long Island Allergy Society. She also serves on the Medical Advisory Board of the Mt. Sinai Hospital and Medical Center of New York.
She and her husband, Bill, reside in Old Westbury, NY.
