CWD's Friends for Life - We Were There!

After attending the Children With Diabetes Friends for Life conference in Orlando last week, a little friend of ours, Senie Grant, had this to say... "It's like diabetes heaven."  We know just what she means.

Read the recap, see photos and buy the CURE T-shirt that became the hot item of the conference.

Are You Ready for Back-to-School?

With each new school year, many parents worry about all the new caregivers who will attend to their child with diabetes.  Relieve some of that anxiety by being prepared.

Have your Section 504 Plan ready and make sure everyone who comes in contact with your child has a copy of our School Brochure, which has need-to-know info about how to handle insulin reactions and more.

Diabetes Diplomat Tonya Homme is a Hero!

Tonya, from L.A., had an idea: sell nail polish in diabetes awareness colors and raise money for the DRI.

Now, Tonya has a website Tips4Type1.com featuring blue and silver polish with the names Tips of Steel and True Blue Hope.

Tonya is turning hope into reality, one polished finger at a time. You can Be the Hero, too!
