Barry Hauser

Barry Hauser is a 20-year veteran of the insurance industry, with a strong background in estate planning, pensions and life insurance. He trained under his uncle, an expert in the field, and began his career at Equitable Life, which was later acquired by Axa.

For 18 years, he served as an insurance representative there, building up a lengthy list of high-profile clients and dealing with financials, tax matters, income statements and employee relations. In 2003, Mr. Hauser left Equitable Life and continues to serve his client list independently.

Mr. Hauser was educated at the State University of New York in Buffalo, earning a degree in molecular genetics in 1975. He served as a research technologist at Roswell Park Cancer Institute for two years before relocating to Boulder, CO, where he turned a lifelong hobby into a savvy business decision. A musician with a talent for guitar and piano, Mr. Hauser served as entertainment director simultaneously at two upscale venues – the Boulderado Hotel and the Blue Note Nightclub. After a highly successful, nearly 10-year stint, he retired from the entertainment business, finally settling in South Florida in 1985.

Mr. Hauser is active with several local charities and community organizations, including Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, where he has served as a volunteer for various fundraising events. He has also been involved with the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF) on a volunteer level, and served as co-chairman of the 2005 World of Hope research conference, and in the capacity of board member since the inception of the Florida regional board of directors.

Mr. Hauser is married to Dr. Robin Nemery and resides in Hollywood, FL.
